OBS-2009 SEISMIC SURVEY ON RV "HÅKON MOSBY"

The project TopoScandiaDeep is a multi-national and multi-disciplinary project aiming at understanding the ongoing dynamics of the area landwards of Møre, mid-Norway. A crucial part of the project is to resolve the crustal structure near the coastal region and within the Møre Basin (sedimentary sink area). For this purpose, the intent is to acquire three approx. 300 km long ocean bottom seismic profiles, along which two will be extended by land-stations. The survey is funded by NFR and will be performed in the period May 24 - June 9, 2009.
