DATA FORMATS

When the GEODE seismograph system is operated in continous recording mode, data will be stored in blocks of user defined size. Each block is stamped with GPS time. Precise timing is obtained by using the "Pulse per second" (PPS) signal from the GPS as trigger source.

• Data will be stored in SEG-2 format
• Data block length: 20 seconds.
• Sample interval: 2 ms
• Each block in separate file.
