In CR mode data is stored in blocks of a certain duration, denoted T seconds (we will use 20 seconds).

To achieve accurate triggering we designed and built a [[Main/TimeTriggerUnit | Time Trigger Unit]].

!!15 December 2009
* "Sending Shot Data in Progress" - duration:
** 20 sec recording, 2 ms sample interval -> 8.5 sec data transmission

<:vspace>
!!20 November 2009 - Can we have data recording overlap?
We want continuous recording, and need to determine if the GEODE recording can accomplish this without purchase of add-on software module from the manufacturer. A simple test is to set recording duration slightly longer than trigger interval. One could imagine internal memory buffers of GEODES permitting this special operation mode.
<:vspace>
* 6.0 seconds trigger interval (external signal generator)
* 6.1 seconds GEODE recording duration
<:vspace>
%red%'''CONCLUSION: The GEODE recording software ignores trigger signals that arrives before previous recording is completeted.'''
