2010 DATA

1.  Track data

Note: All time data in UTC.

2.  UKOOA P1/90 Navdata

The UKOOA P1/90 format is described in this document.

2.1  Software to generate P1/90 UKOOA navdata file

Here is a Python script that generates P1/90 UKOOA files from GEODE log files. It uses an external library for the Lat/Long to UTM conversion.

Follow these steps:

  1. Make directory for each line
  2. Put GEODE log file, above script and the module LatLongUTMconversion.py (download from http://www.pygps.org/#LatLongUTMconversion ) into this directory
  3. Edit script:
    • Input, output file names
    • SP numbering
  4. Windows: Open terminal (DOS) window, move to directory, execute script by writing:
    c:\Python26\python.exe Yermak2010_1.py > Yermak2010_1.QC.txt
(assuming you are using Python ver 2.6, and that standard install directory is used)
