Email, blog, current position

Seems there are software packages that facilitates marine, low-bandwidth email communication (with compression), blogging and automatic plotting of current position and track line.

For email we can also use a normal email client session (e.g. Thunderbird) - download new mail, log off Iridium, edit/write new and log on again. There are settings in email client that permits downloads of email headers only.
