Software
There are three laptops on board, named HC-1, HC-2, HC-3.
Primary roles:
- HC-2: Reflection seismic data collection (Geometrics GEODE) / GUNCO control
- HC-3: Data acquisition from seismic profiling and chirp sonar / echo sounders.
- Front of vessel:
- Track plotter
- Track Logging (using Python program)
- Camera display (which is web based, so any computer on vessel network wil do)
Operating system
- Windows XP SP3
- Unix/Linux available through CygWin

Get from http://www.soest.hawaii.edu/gmt/gmt/gmt_windows.html :
After install, ensure that PATH is updated (Start -> Control Panel -> System -> Advanced -> Environment Variables -> System varables -> PATH.
